‘The Pink Schooner’ by Alicia Gilchrist

This painting is about all things nautical. About setting sail and heading for the horizon with no where else to be. It’s about endless ocean in every direction for far as the eye can see. About albatross, playful dolphins and flying fish. It is also about sails ballooning, boat heeling, waves breaking over the bow and the thrill of the yacht race.

The first in my Sailing series.

Ready to hang with d-rings and hanging wire. Unframed. The painting wraps around the sides so a frame is optional. An original painting. Signed in the lower left hand corner ‘A. Gilchrist’. Protected with a matte spray varnish.
