Waiting by Cathy Gilday – This Easter painting was quite unintentional and just seemed to eventuate from an abstract background. Perhaps my sub concious was the cause. It is a difficult painting to photograph because of the irredescent copper paint I have used but has a beautiful soft glow that seems to illuminate the dark background. The piece has been sealed and framed in a black box frame which brings the overall measurement to 43.4cm x 53.5cm x 3.5
