In “Walk On By” by Saren Dobkins – the gallery space serves as a backdrop for a figure moving between illusory depictions of sea and sky, an expression of a world constantly being created. Wearing headphones symbolising our societal ‘separateness,’ the figure contemplates the choice to engage with or detach from the prescribed narratives, challenging us to embrace the unfolding moments of life rather than merely tuning into predetermined scripts.
