Single trees surrounded by sandstone and scrub described by marks of paint. A pretty image that takes the viewer into a peaceful place, this painting will look good in any setting giving years of pleasure.

Wilderness – this original landscape was created using the fluid pouring method. This method uses several layers acrylic paint colour layered into a cup that is then flipped onto the canvas in one swift movement. The paint will be distributed by carefully moving the canvas. After the pour, the painting has to be handled very carefully for 5-8 hours to ensure that no accident is destroying the evolving design. After the paint has dried completely, which can take up to 48 hours, any embellishment can be added.

Trying to be adventures, I decided to experiment with Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Vermillon, Orange, Purple and a small amount of Black and White for this pour. The results was a quite interesting pattern, the emerging cells reminding me of rocks and tree tops. After the pour had completely dried, I used negative painting to emphasize the tree tops .  A sky blue colour was selected to paint around the tree crowns and the tree trunks to create this landscape.

This original piece of art and was made with Global Acrylics, Dimethicone and Floetrol Pouring Medium on a 20cm x 20cm canvas. It is finished with a modern white 28cm x 28 cm frame, with mat and glass for protection. It has 2 D-rings and hanging wire attached to the back and is ready to hang.
