Measuring 63.5cm (W) x 53.5cm (H) x 5.5cm (D) (FRAMED), this is an original oil painting on stretched canvas.

My current works in oils are exploring my interest in Vintage and Antique fabrics sourced from my extensive range I have collected over many years.

Before moving to painting full time, I worked as an Antique dealer / Vintage merchant supplying beautiful items for interior design. As a result I have quite the collection of special pieces and am enjoying mixing their unique qualities as subject matter into my artwork.

Keeping within the theme of “At Sea” and Working within my current series of Still Life against collected Vintage Fabrics immediately drew me to this 1960’s Terry towelling fabric.

The Fish and bubbles reminds of me of a carefree childhood by the sea in terry shorts and bright towels. My grandparents house by the coast full of grey / blue gums and bright proteas, this painting is an ode to my childhood summer holidays.

This artwork comes to you in a Tasmanian Oak frame with raw front and BLACK sides ready to hang on your wall with a strong wire hanger.
