This painting is one of a series of women from all stages and walks of life. I continually observe life and capture moments that tell a story and typify everyday scenes. Being alone does not necessarily equate to misery or sadness but that a crowd contains individuals each with their own story to tell and my paintings give each individual their own platform.
I have used an excellent quality super smooth canvas. and Atelier professional paints. Wright & Co. 12oz Poly Cotton has a very fine weave and an ultra smooth gesso .
