Eucalyptus leaves in a glass bottle. This is one of my favourite eucalyptus trees and until the recent rain bombs in northern NSW, was growing happily outside my studio. This bunch was given to me by Hannah, the owner of “Our little flower farm”. Although the flower farm and Hannah’s home were flooded, she generously gave me beautiful leaves and flowers to bring inside and paint.

For me, this painting represents the kindness of community.

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and framed in a Tasmanian Oak box frame which has been stained with black hard wax. The painting is varnished, wired and ready to hang. 63cm square including frame.
