Beach – Dreaming of Tropical Islands – by Miranda Lloyd – hang portrait or landscapeThis is another version of this style which I have used more sky blues in this version vs the greeny blues of the larger original. Inspired by living in the Whitsundays when I was 19. I have been reflecting back to my days when I traveled all the Islands and scuba dived the amazing coral reefs. During our winter months in South Australia I do get an urge to be back in the tropics. This is a super textural painting creating movement in the water and the look and feel of sand. The sand is of a metallic gold with white wash. Colours are tranquil and fresh. Finished in a gloss varnish. This painting has been wired to hang either landscape or portrait. Painted around the edges.
