Beaker  by Darren King – Celebrating Muppet comedy genius, Beaker. This piece is made entirely from paint and upcycled paper materials. The paper elements have been cut /torn from various magazines, paper bags, packaging, books, brochures and junk mail.

Please note the colours are brighter in person, the fluoro orange paint used in the hair doesn’t photograph as brightly as it should.

Art size 45cm x 74.5cm x 3.8cm.
Frame size 48cm x 77.5cm x 4cm.

This piece is on stretched canvas and 2 coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back and framed in a simple white painted wood.
