This piece has been made from cut/torn paper collaged pieces, adhesive and paint. Featuring my first mobile phone, and a piece of history that I still own (albeit not working), the original Nokia brick. The phone is coupled with a can of coke, both sitting on my old parquetry floor.

The collaged paper elements have been taken from discarded books, junk mail, packaging, maps, brochures and vintage magazines. The paper pieces create a nice layered textural surface.

2 coats of gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece.

The artwork has a wire at the back, the edges are painted/collaged so it is ready for your wall, or you could add a frame through Art Lovers during purchase.
