Additional Information

Cloud by Darren King

On this piece, the background was first created using cut/ torn collaged papers. Papers taken from discarded mags, books, junk mail and packaging materials. Once the background was dry, it was completely deconstructed and destroyed. Tearing layers off to reveal random elements showing underneath. Paint has been added in areas to even things back out. The end result is loose, abstract surfaces and a very textural piece.

The piece is on stretched canvas. 2 coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back and the collage continues on the edges so it is ready for your walls, or you may wish to add a frame directly through Art Lovers during purchase.

Thanks for checking it out. Cheers Darren
