‘ Crashing Waves’ – by artist Eileen Scrymgeour Rigby
The ocean, the waves , the seaspray inspire a wealth of inspiration for work in the studio. My work begins from the moment I step on the beach until the last stroke of paint on canvas. Living only a short distance away from the Northern beaches I am frequently there dipping my toes in the water and filling my senses with images for new works. I hope that whoever buys this miniature painting will be transported to the location that inspired its being. I have used only Atelier professional paints and applied both paintbrush and palette knife techniques.
