Additional Information

Erik by Darren King – Just another artwork depicting a skull who still has his eyes and is sporting a ginger muzzy whilst wearing a Viking helmet. My 5th skull based artwork this year.

The entire artwork is made from various discarded books, brochures, magazines and junk mail. All bits are torn, cut, assembled and glued to create this textured one of a kind original artwork. It’s a painting made from paper and adhesive rather than paint.

2 coats of high gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss really makes the colours pop & gives the work a glassy finish.

I am currently drawn to the random nature of collage and combining discarded, unused recycled materials. Using unrelated elements and mashing them together to create something entirely new.

The edges are decorated so it is ready for your wall.

Thanks for checking it out. Cheers Darren
