Eucalyptus leaves and kangaroo paws – An original painting by Sigrid Patterson.

This is another painting of the beautiful leaves and flowers from my growing native garden. I use flowers and leaves that have been broken off and discarded from the plant for my paintings as I don’t like to take away from the amazing eco system that feeds and shelters the birds, insects and animals that inhabit it. These ones were victims of a wallaby crash, perfect for taking into the studio for a still life.
