The hotdog is entirely made with recycled paper and adhesive. The background is collage and paint. The collage elements have been taken from discarded books, junk mail, packaging, maps and vintage magazines. The pieces are small and cut/torn to create the depth, composition and shape. Loads of layering and interesting random oddities included.

2 coats of gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece.

The artwork has a wire at the back and is framed (no glass) so it is ready to hang. The wooden frame is actually an old window frame repurposed in it’s original natural colour. The frame has imperfections in the wood which add character. It could be painted by the buyer if required.

  • Artwork dimensions – 46.5(W) x 27.0(H).
