This original acrylic painting depicts a peaceful day on the Brisbane River, offshore from Newstead and Hamilton, with the southside suburb of Bulimba to the right. We are looking downstream towards the Gateway Bridges.

The painting is on professional quality stretched canvas, and can be hung as is, because it’s a deep-sided stretcher frame. Please note, there is no frame around the painting, it sits on its original stretcher frame. The painting continues around the edges.

I painted this original acrylic with professional quality acrylic paints – Matisse Structure and Liquitex Heavy Body.

The canvas is triple-primed, and the painting is protected with a coat of low sheen varnish.

It is ready to hang, with D rings and wire attached.
