Les Enfants by Eileen Rigby – A group of French children strolling through Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris, on a glorious Autumn day. As soon as I saw the long shadows I knew that this was destined for a painting. I loved the way these children held hands as they headed towards the boat hire shop, anticipating the fun that lay ahead. Their child like joy brought such a feeling of well-being to me and filled me with a desire to capture some of that feeling on canvas.
