Inspired by when I lived in the Whitsundays and spent my days off on the surrounding Islands of Airlie Beach. This painting has a heavy textures to create the water ripples – movement and the rough sand. A piece inspired to calm almost like a meditation piece where you feel like you are at the beach. The colours are a mix of greeny blues, turquoise, beige for the sand with a white wash and sunset hues of blues, pinks, yellow, soft purples and orange.
