“Normal People’ is a screen print (Serigraph) on paper with 8 colours/layers. Printed on 220gsm white acid free paper. The colours are vibrant, bold & bright. All screen prints are hand printed by the artist 1 painstaking colour at a time. This listing is for number 2 in the edition of 15.

This piece is a parody of ‘popular culture’, advertising & the concept of what’s normal, what’s beautiful, what’s acceptable. Heavily influenced by street art & graffiti. Text, design elements & hand drawn sketches are mashed together to create this chaotic piece. It was created listening to Canadian punk artists ‘Fucked Up’ & the title is borrowed from one of their songs. The owl is stolen & redrawn from the 1980’s ‘Fags’ sugar cigarette lollies packaging, later renamed ‘Fads’.

This is part pop art, part abstract, part cartoon.

‘Normal People’ has an edition of 15 prints. It will never be reprinted.

The print is signed & numbered front & will be sent in a canon proof tube ready for framing. The print will be packed between craft paper, rolled & carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect shape.
