Additional Information

Mixed Media on canvas, stretched and ready to hang. Signed on the front.

This piece was first painted to create the colourful background, then screen printed in black directly onto the canvas to add text, design elements and structure, then painted again to finish it off. The Illawarra escarpment viewed from my home frames the top third of this artwork.

Lots of colour, layers, and loads of hidden details, some covered, some pushing through. Part pop, part expressionist, part landscape.

The piece is on stretched canvas pine frame. It has a wire at the back and is ready to hang. 2 coats of gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork & the gloss finish really brings out all the intricate details in the work.

The canvas is actually 4 separate pieces sewn together which creates an additional textural element to this piece, note the ridges within the work. The edges are painted on each side so it’s ready to hang or could be framed after purchase. Any questions? Please ask. Thanks for checking it out, cheers Darren
