Pink Roses in Gold Vase by Miranda Lloyd – This textural abstract of Roses was inspired by my own garden. We have so many amazing roses bursting in colour at the moment. I also get to look at them while I paint as have floor to ceiling windows. Flowers are such a happy subject and also a beautiful uplifting feature for ones space. This one is super textural with magenta pink flowers . The gold vase is very 3D and makes you feel like it is a real vase with its heavy rustic textures with a gold and white wash. Background is of a mix of blues, turquoise, pinks, greens, white, silver and gold metallics. Painted around edges. This is my first roses painting. Finished in a gloss varnish.
