A blend of many things I love — art, nostalgia, music, collage, and a magpie. The magpie is singing his own version of the Rage theme song, by the way.

Some elements peek through the surface, while others are partially obscured by paint, rewarding closer inspection.

The collage materials have been sourced from discarded books, junk mail, packaging, comics, maps, and vintage magazines — reinvigorating materials that would otherwise be thrown away.

The artwork has been sealed with three coats of gloss varnish to protect the surface and enhance depth. The gloss finish creates a sleek glass like surface.

A wire is attached to the back for easy hanging, and the edges are painted and collaged, so it’s ready to go straight onto your wall.
