One sunny day I was inspired by the reflections of a little boat sitting in the harbour. I wanted to capture the feeling of freedom and well-being that I felt on that day. For those of us who have been ‘confined to barracks’ during these past many months this sense of freedom, that being near water brings, is encapsulated in this painting.
