ROCKSTAR by Darren King

This 1980’s/ Lego /keytar playing, inspired pop art piece was created entirely from cut/torn paper pieces and adhesive. Zero paint.

The paper collage elements have been cut/torn, repurposed and assembled to create a layered, textural pop art painting. Taken from old books, magazines, packaging materials and junk mail. Drenched in big hair Lego rock nostalgia, straight outta the 1980’s.

2 coats of gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece.

The artwork has a wire at the back, the edges are collaged so it is ready for your wall, or you may wish to frame the piece directly through Art Lovers during purchase.

Thanks for checking it out. Cheers Darren
