This is my latest painting where I draw inspiration from Australian artist Jeffrey Smart with this semi abstract work. This piece is not meant to be a realistic landscape but it is an authentic distillation of my feelings for the land but with colourful motifs to enjoy. These suspended shapes, which may be unrelated, I need for expressive compositional placement and islands of colour.
