Based on a random image, from a vintage Popeye comic book.

Vintage book pages detailing soup recipes, are worn/yellowed and surround the painting like an old comic book border. These pieces also cover the edges of the canvas. The remainder of the piece was painted in acrylic and posca markers.

This piece is on stretched canvas and 2 coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges so it is ready for your walls, or you may wish to add a frame directly through Art Lovers during purchase.
