I love this subject. This is a pop art, nostalgic statement piece, that is sure to get people talking.

This piece was created from paint and collaged paper pieces. It includes loads of textural paint and paper layering. Lots of odd, random collaged details throughout this piece, some partially covered by paint, some fully visible. Including paper snippets lifted from damaged art books, featuring elements by Munch, Van Gogh and several vintage pop culture icons.

The collage elements have been taken from discarded books, junk mail, packaging, comics, maps and vintage magazines. Reusing and reinvigorating materials that would otherwise be discarded.

3 coats of gloss varnish will be applied to protect the artwork. The gloss gives a glassy sheen to the artwork that really brings out the details in this piece.

The artwork has a wire at the back, the edges are painted/collaged so it is ready for your wall, or you may wish to frame the piece directly after purchase through the Art Lovers options.
