This is a painting made with upcycled paper pieces, adhesive and acrylic paint.

Jasper from The Simpsons has been created entirely from paper elements. These pieces have been harvested, then cut or torn from a Simpsons comic, and old damaged Simpsons board game, various magazines, packaging, books, brochures and junk mail. The blackboard background is acrylic paint. Random text and oddities pop up throughout the work, loads of show characters, and tv show references.

This piece is on stretched canvas and 2 coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges so it is ready for your walls, or you may wish to add a frame directly through Art Lovers during purchase.
