This is a painting made with paper pieces, adhesive and acrylic paint.

The sand and sea have been created from upcycled paper elements. These pieces have been harvested, then cut or torn from various magazines, packaging, books, brochures and junk mail. The sky is paint over collage. Random text and oddities pop up throughout the work, at times covered, at times visible.

This piece is on stretched canvas and 2 coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with collaged edges so it is ready for your walls, or you may wish to add a frame directly through Art Lovers during purchase.
