Based on a photo I took earlier in the year of my son ankle deep in Lake Illawarra. Started out as a fishing trip and he ended up soaked, as always. The original photo was taken at sunset as the light died behind him over the escarpment. I’ve tried to keep this interpretation fairly loose and painterly.

The piece is on a primed Painting Board which are made from a smooth blonde coloured plywood panel with pine bracing ensuring a strong and warp resistant painting support. It has a wire at the back, painted edges and is ready to hang.

2 coats of varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The edges are painted so it is ready for your wall. Thanks for checking it out. Cheers Darren
