Tree by Starry Night by Miranda Lloyd – This is one of my signature Trees with a rustic feel introducing deep browns with metallic golds. Inspired by living in the Adelaide Hills and my outback Australian adventures. Gum Trees surround us all in Australia and are such an Australian icon especially if there is a koala up it or a kangaroo by its side (hahaha). I love seeing the really old gums that stand so robust and have so much character and history. Trees were my first subject when I started out painting and still are a strong subject today. The background has a light texture of deep brown, black, turquoise, sky blues, pinks, browns, beige, metallic golds and white.
