Waiting For an Adventure by Eileen Rigby – Travels overseas provides so much material for my paintings. Breathing in the sea air, watching the boats in Brixham harbour frees the mind and relaxes the body. I am drawn to water and to the freshness of the cool sea breezes. I invariably take off my shoes and dip my toes into the coolness whatever the weather. The harbour, of course, is more of a visual experience but nonetheless envigorating. So here is the result of one of those special moments – ‘Waitng for an Adventure’. Sides are painted so no may be hung without a frame. Atelier professional paints and varnished.
