Wave – Big Beach Surf Textured Abstract by Miranda Lloyd – This abstract wave painting is a start of a new series. Inspired by my weekend surfing down Middleton beach. Came back the other day and had to get it out of my system . My family often escape down the coast for a weekend of surfing and family fun….and the dog comes too!. Also inspired by the Japanese The Great Wave of Kanagawa painting. I love electric blues and metallic golds. Ive used three different shades of metallic golds in this. Sky and wave have their own textures too . The painting looks much better in real life too as hard to capture the true textures and rich turquoise blues. This painting is a real stand out piece.
