These are my first Willie Wagtails I have painted. They were inspired by living in the Adelaide Hills. We are so lucky to have so many playful and beautiful birds that surround us every day. This painting is heavily textured, the birds are almost a sculpture on the painting. The use of gold foils adds nice contrast to the abstract bluey green sky.I have now painted a range of Australian Birds all inspired by living in the hills.
