Additional Information

Woolly Warmer is a small sized work in landscape format, painted in acrylic on deep sided stretched cotton duck. The painting features an Australian sheep. This work is unframed, but is ready to hang on deep sided canvas. The painting sides are clean, raw canvas. The colours feature warm yellows, salmons, violets and creams against a lemon yellow background. The brushwork is broad and textured giving an abstracted and contemporary representation of the subject. This painting would make an ideal addition to a playroom, or child’s bedroom or a kitchen.

The inspiration for this painting came from my living in a rural and regional area in central NSW. While I do not have sheep of my own, the neighbours do and I have plenty of opportunity to watch and paint.
