Part of my recent series of small works celebrating the abandoned, mysterious and forgotten spaces/items around us. This is a painting made with paper and adhesive rather than paint.

This piece is made entirely from upcycled paper elements. Pieces of paper, which have been cut /torn from various magazines, old books, paper bags, packaging materials, brochures and junk mail. Loads of layering, oddities and very textural.

This piece is on stretched canvas and 2 coats of high gloss varnish have also been applied to protect the artwork. The gloss finish really makes the colours pop and gives the work a glassy finish. It has a wire at the back with painted edges so it is ready for your walls, or you may wish to add a frame directly through Art Lovers during purchase.
